Special tools: to make the GPS feeder connector.

Common tools: mm scale, electrician knife, spanner, file, and brush.

Safety protection tools: safety belt (used by installation personnel working out
of the tower platform), safety helmet, safety rope, dungaree, canvas tool bag,
gloves, multi-purpose power socket.
7.4 Selecting Feeder Cables
In the GPS feeder system, the length of GPS feeder is different and the specification varies.
You can use three kinds of cables for GPS feeder, such as 1/4", 1/2", and 7/8".
Note:
l
If the length is less than 25 m, select the 1/4" feeder.
l
If the length is between 25 m and 40 m, select the 1/2" feeder.
l
If the length is more than 40 m, select the 7/8" feeder.
This section takes 1/4″ and 1/2” feeders as an example to describe how to make the
feeder. For the information about other feeder types or manufacturers, refer to the specific
installation instructions.
Caution!
The shield corrugated copper tube for the 1/4" and 1/2" feeder is thin and easy to be
damaged. On the field installation, do not trample the feeder and operate it ferociously.
