7.3 Installation Preparations

Installation Personnel

The antenna feeder system should be installed by the installation personnel under the

supervision of an Installation Supervisor.

Before installing the GPS antenna feeder system, check the qualifications of the

installation personnel who are to work at heights, prepare and check the installation

environment, safety measures, installation tools and system components to ensure a

successful installation.

The installation supervisor shall be familiar with the materials, tools and operation

methods, and is responsible for organizing and coordinating installation personnel

as well as assigning suitable jobs to suitable persons in the principle of "safety first",

especially the jobs on towers.

The installation supervisor is also responsible for

truthfully recording engineering data.
