Immediately, PM Due is highlighted. To turn the alarm OFF, press the
Confirm
button, use

to select OFF, then press the
Confirm
button. The alarm is now OFF for this use.

To turn OFF the RTC Battery Low alarm, use the
Dial
to select RTC Battery Low, then press
the
Confirm
button, use the
Dial
to select OFF, then press the
Confirm
button. The alarm is
now OFF for this use.
Power Up Settings
The initial starting configuration is described in, “Initial Power ON and Operation” found
previously in this chapter. However, you can configure how the aspirator starts (powers up)
based on your use or patient population. The aspirator
Power Up
setting options include:
In addition to controlling how the device starts, the
Power Up
settings sub-menu also allows the
user to save the current device configuration for use as the Custom starting configuration and
which language will be used when the device starts.
To configure new power-up settings, follow these steps;
1. Press the
Main
Menu
button to display the menu.
2.
Turn the
Dial
to highlight
Power Up
settings, then press the
Confirm
button.
3.
If needed, turn the
Dial
to highlight the
Power Up
choice, then press the
Confirm
button
which then presents the sub-menu where
Power Up
is highlighted.
4.
Press the
Confirm
button, then turn the
Dial
to the desired starting configuration.

5.
Press the
Confirm
button to confirm the new starting configuration.
Specifying Custom Settings
To save the current configuration for use at start up, follow these steps:
1. Press the
Main
Menu
button, then turn the
Dial
to
Power Up
settings, then press the
Confirm
button.
2.
Turn the
Dial
to highlight the Custom Setting choice, and then press the
Confirm
button
which confirms the selection and returns the highlight to the
Power Up
setting sub-menu.

Aspirator State on Power Up
Adult
Continuous mode with Adult initial settings for procedures (Surgical
Pharyngeal, Tracheal, CASS), and Smart Flow ON.
Pediatric
Continuous mode with Pediatric initial settings for Procedures (Surgical
Pharyngeal, Tracheal, CASS), and Smart Flow ON.
Custom
Allows the user to customize Continuous and Intermittent mode parameter
settings, including initial settings, and which mode is active when the device
starts.
Start Menu
Aspirator starts with the Start Menu displayed allowing the user to choose
between Adult, Pediatric, Custom setting, or the Last Settings
