Continuous Mode Operation
Continuous mode provides four suction procedures. The procedures, and their initial vacuum
level, provide the user with a quick method for controlling the device and the suction pressure.
Using the correct vacuum level can reduce the risk of tissue damage that can result when too
much pressure is used.
Procedure
Description
Surgical
The surgical procedure provides adjustable levels across the full range of the
device. The device provides a portable solution with a range of suction
typically used in medical facilities. When addressing the patient airway
management the device provides additional procedure selections in the
Continuous Mode. These selections use the same pneumatic design with
specified limitations to the adjustable level.
Pharyngeal
The pharyngeal procedure provides the appropriate range to remove
secretions of the upper airway.
Tracheal
The tracheal procedure provides the appropriate range for the use of the
device clear the pulmonary passage.
