Using the Aspirator User
Interface
This chapter describes the ZOLL Model 330 Multifunction Aspirator user interface and
provides descriptions of controls, buttons, and power switch. The user interface has two
primary functional elements: suction controls and device controls. Suction controls allow you
to configure the device to perform a suction procedure. Device controls let you manage the start
up behavior of the device, LCD performance, and access critical information about the device.
Device controls are supported by alarms and pop up messages to guide operation during normal
use and when there is a fault or failure that affects device performance or safety.
Interface Overview
The user interface, allows the user to configure two groups of settings.
1. Suction controls and monitoring include the following:

Suction mode
•
Suction procedure
•
Vacuum Level (mm Hg value)
•
Pop up messages
•
Alarms

Device controls and information include the following:
•
Alarm configuration: disable certain alarms
•
Power-up settings: chose how the device starts
•
LCD Contrast: adjust the contrast based in ambient light conditions
•
LCD Brightness: adjust the LCD backlight based on the ambient light conditions
•
UTC Offset: adjust the internal clock based on local time
•
Unit Info: device information such as serial numbers, software information, and
date of next preventative maintenance)
