MECHANICAL

This section includes the following mechanical specifications:

Card dimensions and weight

Connectors (including connector locations, descriptions, and pinouts)

Cables showing dimensions for building cables to interface with the ZT 8954

Card Dimensions And Weight

The  ZT 8954  meets  the

STD 32 Bus Specification for all mechanical parameters. In a

card cage with 0.625" spacing, the ZT 8954 requires one card slot as a stand-alone
card. As an integrated Floppy Disk Controller, the ZT 8954 also requires just one slot.

The figure "

Board Dimensions

" shows the mechanical dimensions of the ZT 8954.

The ZT 8954-D3 requires three STD card slots.

Board Length:

16.51 cm ± 0.063 cm (6.500 in ± 0.005 in)

Board Width:

11.43 cm ± 0.038 cm (4.500 in ± 0.005 in)

Board Thickness:

0.158 cm ± 0.013 cm (0.062 in ± 0.007 in)

Board Weight:

ZT 8954-D0:

200 g (7 oz)

ZT 8954-D1 (Integrated Floppy): 624 g (22 oz)

Board Height From Top Surface:

ZT 8954-D0:

0.953 cm (0.375 in) maximum

ZT 8954-D1:

1.27 cm (0.5 in) maximum

Board Height From Bottom Surface:
