Residual risk is:
• a danger that cannot be completely eliminated through design and application of safety devices.
• a potential danger which cannot be highlighted.
an emergency situation that might arise following failure of the electronics which run the safety
systems, could involve the lamp suddenly coming on at full power with the protective screen
raised, thus dazzling the operator. Should this happen switch off the welder immediately at the main
switch. proceed with maximum caution to prevent any damage to eyesight.
the above-mentioned dangers are indicated by special labels attached to the machine, as described
in sub-section 3.3.1.
To prevent accidents always observe the instructions in this manual. Should you have
any doubts at all please contact the Manufacturer or your Authorised Servicing
Centre.

8.3
RESIDUAL RISK
Via the just-described procedure it is, at this point, possible to extract the piece
(X) from the model (Y) and go on to complete welding with the
infrared system (without the need, then, to position the model on the
refractory plate too).
To carry out welding tasks follow the
instructions shown in Chapter 7, section
7.4 of this manual.
Notice regarding the presence of "Substances of Very High Concern” (SVHC)
zhermack, as manufacturer and supplier of the articles, has the duty of complying with that foreseen
by art.33 of the regulation 1907/2006/EC (rEaCH).
the above-mentioned art.33 gives orders regarding the communication of information on "substances
of very high concern” (SVHC) in a concentration above 0.1% (weight by weight ratio) in the articles.
In compliance with that above, we declare that the substance aluminosilicate refractory Ceramic
Fibres is contained in a concentration above the threshold value of 0.1% weight by weight in the
purchased product.
the fibres indicated are included in a solid matrix which prevents them from being released into the
work environment. therefore, in the normal operating conditions of the articles you have purchased,
there is no risk of inhaling these substances.
However special attention must be paid when disposing. this operation must be carried out at
specialised facilities and according to the directions reported in paragraph 5.4 Disposal/dismantling.
