PACKING AND UNPACKING
all the material is thoroughly checked by the Manufacturer prior to shipment. When you
receive the goods make sure they have not been damaged during transit and that no-one has tam-
pered with the packaging and removed any of the parts contained therein.
Should you note any damage or missing parts please inform your Dealer and the shipping
carrier immediately: take photographs and send them on to both dealer and carrier.
the packaging, consisting of a cardboard box with internal expanded plastic padding, contains:
• the optical welding machine Quasar;
• the refractory platform;
• this Use and Maintenance Manual.
CHAPTER 5: TRANSPORT AND MOUNTING
To prevent any injury to persons or damage to things always proceed with the utmost
care and attention when mounting the machine. Observe all the precautions and
instructions contained in the following paragraphs.
The optical welding machine Quasar is not equipped with tweezers, thermal gloves
and protection glasses; but in order to operate the machine, you should use them.
