1. Check:
• Primary sheave weight

Replace.
2. Measure:
• Primary sheave weight outside diameter “a”
Out of specification
→
Replace.

1. Check:
• Secondary fixed sheave
• Secondary sliding sheave

Replace the sec-
ondary fixed and sliding sheaves as a set.
2. Check:
• Torque cam groove “a”

Replace the secondary
fixed and sliding sheaves as a set.
3. Check:
• Guide pins “1”
Damage/wear
→
Replace the secondary
fixed and sliding sheaves as a set.
4. Check:
• Spring free length
Out of specification
→
Replace the spring.

1. Install:
• Bearing “1”
(into the secondary fixed sheave “2”)
2. Lubricate:
• Secondary sliding sheave inner surface
• Oil seals “1”
(with the recommended lubricant)
