6. Adjust:
• Throttle cable joint position
Adjustment steps:
• Turn the throttle grip to the fully closed
position.
• Contact the throttle control lever

to the
fully closed stopper

• Adjust the position of the cable joint

until its hole aligns with the set pin

• Install the clip

, and then tighten the
locknut

WARNING
The cable joint must be screwed in a
minimum of 8.0 mm (0.31 in).
7. Check:
• Throttle operation
Unsmooth operation
→
Adjust.
Checking steps:
• Turn the shift lever to the neutral position.
• Fully open and close the throttle several
times.
• Check that the throttle valve fully opens
and closes.
8. Connect:
• Wiring harness coupler

• Warning indicator lead coupler
