4. Click the [
Recording
] tab in the WINDOWS “
Sound

window.
5. Click [
Microphone
], then click the [
Properties
] button.
The microphone properties will open.
6. Click the [
Levels
] tab.
If the microphone input is muted, click the icon “ ” on
the right side of the slider to cancel mute “ ”.
7. Press the
PTT
switch of the transceiver connected to the
PC and adjust the microphone level while talking with a
normal voice level.
Make the waveform as large as possible while the wave-
form displayed on the waveform monitor does not exceed
the dotted line or the peak of the waveform does not col-
lapse.
