Sorter Specifications

General Procedures and Information

Sorter Specifications

The Sorter is an optional accessory which connects to the left side of the copier/printer and
receives finished copies from the printer.

Sorter Electrical Requirements

The sorter re24 VDC from the IOT. The +24 VDC is interlocked and will become inter-
rupted when the Sorter Top Cover is opened, or when the machine switches to the Power
Saver (Sleep) mode.

Sorter Capacity and Output

The Sorter has 10 Bins and a Stacker Tray. During copy only jobs, the Sorter can sort by set or
stack by page; or high capacity stack mode can be selected. Transparencies can be run to the
Side Output Tray (default), or run to the Stacker Tray.

In Print mode, the only available tray for all outputs is the Side Output Tray (Bin 1).
