Profile Keyword Options
The following tables describe the keywords for each of the profile types.
Default values for the keywords are underlined in the table.

These keywords may be used in any profile type, whether it be an Xerox job
profile or a AFP job profile.

Moves printed output along the portrait X-
axis, in 1/14,400-inch increments, on the
back of the page.
Not used by the DocuPrint 900/1300.
ALIGNXFRONT
Moves printed output along the portrait X-
axis, in 1/14,400-inch increments, on the
front of the page.
Not used by the DocuPrint 900/1300.
ALIGNYBACK
Moves printed output along the portrait Y-
axis, in 1/14,400-inch increments, on the
back of the page.
Not used by the DocuPrint 900/1300.
ALIGNYFRONT
Moves printed output along the portrait Y-
axis, in 1/14,400-inch increments, on the
front of the page.
Not used by the DocuPrint 900/1300.
COMMENT
(for tape input)
Passes a Tape Mount message through
to the separator pages.The message
must be enclosed in quotation marks.
Blank or ASCII text string up to 20
bytes. Example:
“Mount Tape : TELEPHONE DATA’
COPIES
Specifies how many copies to be printed. A valid number
DATASOURCE
Defines the name of data file to process.
This could be a file name or a client
name.
SCSI for tape.

Specifies whether the Executive is to
delete the input file for a disk job when the
job is finished. This option is generated
automatically by VIPConnect.
YES or NO
DELVDDAFTERJOB
Defines whether to suppress deletion of
all VDDs until after a job has finished
processing.
YES, to delete all the VDDs after the
job has completed, or
NO, to delete VDDs each time it
reaches a checkpoint.
FORM
Specifies the pre-printed forms required.
A name.
HARDWAREORIGIN
Defines whether to rotate the pages when
printing.

submitted on hold.

Specifies whether or not to save the VDD

name up to 256 bytes.
MAXOUTSIDESPERMIN
Sets the maximum output rate in sides
per minutes. Value should be 10-50%
over the rated speed of the printer.
0 - 9999 or MAXIMUM
(0 indicates as fast as possible.)
MAXSIDESPERMIN
Sets the maximum input rate in sides per
minutes. Value should be 10-50% over
the rated speed of the printer.
0 - 9999 or MAXIMUM
(0 indicates as fast as possible.)
NATIVERESOURCETYPE
Defines the native resource type to be
used. This is only used by sample utilities.
AFP240, AFP300, or XRX300
OUTPUT
Defines the name of the output group or
single client to do the output processing.
If the Profile contains a DATASINK value,
the output will be processed to a tape.
