When a form feed is set,
unprinted sheet is produced
following output of printed
data.
When NetWare
remote printer mode
is used.
The form feed is normally set to valid
(default). Set No Form Feed in the print
option of NetWare. This parameter can
be assigned to any of the printing
methods available, including Windows
Novell Client, PCONSOLE, NPRINT, and
CAPTURE.
The screen of the SSN turns
gray or shows incorrect
display.
Windows 2000
The condition could occur when other
applications are activated in addition to
multiple Simple Status Notifications
(SSNs). In such cases, exit some of
SSNs in activation. Set those still in
activation in longer updating intervals
than the current setting (approximately
60 seconds or more).
The [Date and Time] are not
shown in document that
appears in the printer window
(applicable to Windows 2000
only). Instructions for a
temporary halt and
resumption cannot be given to
the document displayed in the
printer window.
When the IPP printing
is done in Windows
2000, Windows XP, or
Windows Me.
-
When the machine has a
printing job, if instructions for
updating are given on the
CentreWare Internet Services
screen, the NV memory of the
network is initialized, or the
device is reactivated, the
following phenomena could
occur:
•
The display on the
CentreWare Internet
Services screen stops.
•
Correct printout of a
document in processing is
not produced.
•
Printing via network cannot
be provided.
•
Zero may appear for the
numbers of pages on a form
plate and copies in
Completed Jobs of Jobs
and History, though the
output results are normal.
-
Before performing the above operations,
be sure to check that there is no printing
job in process. (Check that "Ready for
Printing" message appears on the
control panel of the printer.) When the
NV memory of the network has been
initialized, wait until the processing is
completed before performing operations.
•
