3.1   Installing Mac OS software

If your printer/copier does not have a hard disk drive, only the printer’s
Direct connection is available.

Select the printer/copier from the “Select a PostScript Printer” list, and
click Setup.

The AdobePS printer/copier driver automatically selects the correct PPD
file for your DocuColor 4 LP/CP.

Close the Chooser.

3.1.2

Installing the DocuColor 4 LP/CP ICC printer/copier
profile

An ICC printer/copier profile is located in the ColorSync 2.0 folder. To in-
stall this file, drag a copy to your System folder’s Preferences > ColorSync
Profiles folder.

Printer profiles selected via ColorSync affect ColorSync compliant applica-
tions only.

To use the DocuColor 4 LP/CP ICC printer/copier profile:

If desired, install the EFIRGB ICC source space profile and select it as
the ColorSync system profile, as described in “Installing the EFIRGB
ICC profile”.

With the document you want to print open, choose Print from the File
menu.

Choose Color Matching from the pop-up menu under the Printer pop-
up menu in the Print dialog box.

Choose ColorSync Color Matching or PostScript Color Matching from
the Print Color pop-up menu.
