When you have finished entering all values, the
PRINT GRAYS
menu
appears.
To print the
GRAY BALANCE
page use the up and down arrows to select
YES
. Best Patch (Row) appears.
To reset the printer’s gray balance, follow the instructions provided on
the
GRAY BALANCE PAGE
.
You can skip printing the
Gray Balance
page by selecting
NO
.
Select the row number of the most acceptable patch. Use the
Up
and
Down
arrow buttons to select a value. To accept a value press
Item/
Enter
.
Select the column number of the most acceptable patch. Use the
Up
and
Down
arrow buttons to select a value. To accept a value press
Item/
Enter
.

To print a Color test that uses the original values and a Color Test that
uses the new values, use up and down arrows to select
YES
. Press

You can skip printing the
COLOR TEST PAGE
by selecting

Before applying the calibration changes compare the Color test that uses
the original calibration values against the Color test that uses the new
values. If you are satisfied with the printer’s calibration based on the
new values, select
YES
from the
APPLY CHANGES
screen that appears,
and press
Item/Enter
to recalibrate the printer/copier based on the
previously entered values. If you are not satisfied with the printer’s
calibration based on the new values, select
NO
from the
APPLY
CHANGES
screen that appears. Or if you want to reset the calibration,
select
DEFAULT COLOR
.
