ColorWise Expert Mode
The Adobe PostScript 8.5.1 driver for the Mac OS can
convert RGB colors of a file to a specified CMYK device.
Choose ColorSync Color Matching option to specify the
use of a device profile installed on your computer. Choose
PostScript Color Matching to use DocuColor 4 LP/CP
CRDs.
For information on how to install and use the DocuColor
4 LP/CP ICC printer/copier profile, see Chapter 3.
Before an RGB image can be printed, the file’s color data
must be converted to the printer’s CMYK color space.
Color rendering dictionaries allow you to apply optimal
gamut mapping methods to text, photographs, and illus-
trations.
ColorWise Business Color specifies the application of the
Presentation color rendering dictionary to photographic,
illustration, and text objects in a document. Use this op-
tion if you are printing documents created in office appli-
cations that include color charts or mixed graphic and text
elements.
ColorWise Expert Mode allows you to specify CRD set-
tings. You may select any combination of these settings
to customize the printing of RBG text, graphic, and illus-
tration objects in your documents.
