(3) If the error message displayed is about the document jam occurring at the
upper part of the automatic document feeder, continue this step and perform
step (4).
Open the left cover of the automatic document feeder and remove any jammed
document found.
(4) Close the left cover of the automatic document feeder.
(5) Furthermore, if the error message displayed is about the document jam
occurring at the lower part of the automatic document feeder, continue this
step and perform step (6).
Open the automatic document feeder. Remove any document still on the docu-
ment glass, or any jammed document found at the automatic document feeder.
