3.5 Plug and Play Configuration Menu

The PnP menu is used to configure Plug-n-Play, a legacy BIOS initiative used to support operating
systems such as Windows95, Windows98, and WindowsNT. ACPI has largely replaced this feature;
however, it is necessary for platforms to support older operating systems. Figure 3.5 shows the PnP Setup
menu.
