3.6 Interchangeable
Equipment (Optional Components)
Notice
NOTE:
The standard package for excavators does not include safety
devices or a knapper.
– Contact an authorized special parts dealer or XCMG to have them install
the knapper during the first time.
– Listen carefully to the installation instructions to manage the task by
yourself in the future

If any part of the safety devices become torn or broken, have them replaced
by an authorized special dealer or XCMG.
– Only use any interchangeable equipment (e.g. the bucket or knapper)
according to their range of application.
– Make sure to install the bucket/knapper properly by observing the
instruction for use.
– Ask for support when attaching interchangeable equipment.

Never remove safety devices without approval
NOTE
:
Without proper working safety devices, the machine will lose its
conformity according to machine directive (2006/42/EG) and other applicable
directives or regulations.
– When attaching interchangeable equipment for the first time, be sure to
carefully estimate the appropriate safety distance to the operator in the
cabin.
– Adjust the knapper’s inclination angle accordingly
– Keep the knapper from intruding the cabin to avoid serious injury.
– Do not let anyone ride on the bucket or hydraulic breaker as it may result in
serious injuries or death
NOTE:
If the operator is changed, the new one must pay special attention to the
training on how to attach interchangeable equipment and recognise it as
conforming to the guidelines and standards.
