NOTE: Make sure the connection is secure by pulling on the drawbar.
d) Thread the safety strap around the bike frame tube and hook the snap hook into the
drawbar handle. Make sure the safety strap does not catch on the spokes or disc brakes.
⚠
WARNING:
Make sure that the axle link is correctly secured in the
drawbar head. If it is not attached correctly, the trailer may come loose
while driving, which can lead to accidents with life-threatening injuries.
⚠
WARNING:
Never drive without securing the drawbar with the
safety strap! If the trailer comes loose, it will still be connected to the
bicycle. Failure to observe this can lead to accidents with lifethreatening
injuries.
MOUNTING THE BUGGY WHEELS (CONFIGURATION - PUSHCHAIR)
If the bicycle trailer has a drawbar or jogging set fitted, first remove these components
and insert the pins of the yellow fixing clamps back into the holes provided. Make sure
that the fixing clamps are closed. The clamp is securely closed as soon as you hear
a loud click.
TIP: To familiarise yourself with the assembly, we recommend that you first lift the front
of the trailer, tilt it back and rest it on the handle. Make sure the surface underneath the
trailer is clean and smooth so as not to dirty or damage the textile cover. Later, once you
are familiar with the assembly, simply lift the front of the trailer slightly for this work.
a) Lift the front of the trailer or tilt it backwards.
b) Insert the stroller wheel into the socket as far as possible until you hear and feel it
snap into place.
c) To remove the stroller wheel, press the yellow button and pull out the stroller wheel.
MOUNTING THE JOGGER WHEEL (CONFIGURATION - JOGGER)
If a drawbar or buggy wheels are fitted to the bike trailer, these components must first
be removed. The jogger set-up consists of two arms and a jogger wheel and a safety
strap. The arms are mounted in a similar way to the drawbar. The left arm is inserted into
the drawbar socket and the right arm is inserted into a socket of identical design on the
right side.
a) Lift the front of the trailer or tilt it backwards. Unfasten the yellow fixing clamps on
both sides and remove them.
b) Slide the front wheel arms into the mounting slots.
c) Insert the pins of the yellow mounting clamps into the holes provided.
d) Lock the mounting clamps until you hear a click.
NOTE: Make sure that the fixing clamps are closed. The clamp is securely closed as soon
as you hear a loud click.
e) Next, insert the jogger wheel into the wheel arm slots. Ensure that the wheel lock
washers are in the correct mounting holes.
TIP: If you have trouble getting the lock washers in place loosen or unscrew the nut
located on the front wheel axle. (Be careful not to lose the spring located under the nut.).
f) Turn the axle nut and close the quick release.
TIP: If during use you find that the wheelchair does not keep a straight track you can correct
this using the yellow knobs underneath the front wheel fork.
