Tightening the quick-clamping nut
Attention!
Use the quick-clamping nut

only on machines
with “quick-clamping system”.
Attention!
If the abrasive wheel
[10]
is thicker than 6.8 mm
in the clamping area, the quick-clamping nut must
not be used!

Use the two-hole nut
[8]
with two-hole
wrench
[7]
.

Lock the spindle.
■
Push quick-clamping nut
[9]
onto the
spindle
[12]
so that the two lugs engage in the
two grooves of the spindle.
■
Tightening the quick-clamping nut in clockwise
direction by hand.
■
Tighten the quick-clamping nut further by turning
the abrasive wheel firmly in clockwise direction.
Loosening the quick-clamping nut
Attention!
Only when the quick-clamping nut
[9]
is fitted
may the spindle be stopped using the red spindle
locking knob
[13]
!
■
The machine runs on after switching off. Just
before the abrasive wheel comes to a standstill,
press the red spindle locking knob
[13]
.

The quick-clamping nut

is loosened automati

cally by approx. half a turn and can then be
unscrewed without additional force or tools.
