The parameterization quantitatively lays down the values of the functions the instrument has been
configured for.

The course of the parameterization can be gathered from the graphic scheme (see folding in the
appendix of this manual).
From the operation mode "measurement" - menu "PARAMETER" - access to the parameterization
level is made with the DOWN and ENTER keys.

Then the display shows:
Case 1: The user has not input a code number
= ex-factory condition
(instrument-internal: Code number set to 000).
When "555" is displayed the user can change to the
parameterization or configuration level by

three times pressing the key
(three times accepting the flashing "5").
Case 2: A code number has been input
With a prior parameterization the user have input a
code number of their own
(Parameterization: Menu "PARA PASS").
If "555" is displayed this code number has to be input
digit by digit with the
F F
keys (set) and (accept)!
Note: If a wrong code number has been input or with access to parameterization or
configuration can only be made in the reading mode, i. e. adjustments can be read
but not altered.
