In the setup menu, call up the special functions
submenu.
The following display appears:
Kinetic measuring requires a minimum
2 hour warm-up period of the photometer.

10.2 Kinetics
The kinetics function enables the tracking of time-de-
pendent changes in concentration or absorbance by
repeat measurements. When doing this, the photome-
ter measures at an adjustable time interval (setting:
00:10 to 10:00 min with the smallest interval of 10 sec-
onds). The wavelength can also be selected.
The kinetic measured values are stored in the memory
in the same way as the measured values from single
measurements (older measured values are overwrit-
ten). The duration of the measurement can be input:
minimum 1 minute, maximum 999 times the measur-
ing interval. The maximum number of measuring cy-
cles of a kinetic measurement is 1000 measurements
(until the memory is full of kinetic measured values).
The current measured value number appears in the
header of the display. When the memory is full, the
meter aborts the kinetic measurement. The oldest val-
ues of the kinetic are not overwritten.
