CTRL-EDIT: If the radio will accept requests to have settings changed remotely, enter
a control code in this field. The controlling radio must have the same code entered into
its MCC-EDIT field.
In the example configuration in the graphic above, the radio is configured to allow all
remote control functions and to perform remote control, as the control code is set to the
same valid value (654321) for all three fields.
Stun, Kill, Monitor and Inspect
The following details how to perform the Stun, Kill, Monitor, and Inspect remote
control functions. These functions cannot be activated while a transceiver is in repeater
mode.
In the following example, assume an SCC of 654321 and a DTMF ID of 123456 have
been configured in the programming software.
Stun
Stun prevents a radio from transmitting.
