Refer to the diagram for power feed chain routing instructions.

2.

Inspect the power feed motor brushes every 750 hours of operation. Remove brush dust
and replace the brushes if they worn to a length of 5/8” (16mm) or shorter.

CAUTION!

Do not operate the power feed system if the feed motor

brushes are worn shorter than 5/8” (16mm). Damage to the feed motor
may result.

3.

Check the power feed gearbox oil level. Add a synthetic gear oil such as Mobil Glygoyle
460 as needed.

Drain and refill the gearbox

with 12 - 15 ounces (0.35 - 0.44L) of oil after every 5000

hours of sawmill operation or every 2 years, whichever comes first.

Wood-Mizer offers replacement gear oil in 8 ounce (0.24L) bottles.
