Chapter 3 – SmartPAC PRO Initialization Mode

Entering Special Names and Sequence Numbers

(INITIALIZATION

– SETUP DATA COMMS/SFC – SET SPECIAL NAMES)

NOTICE

In Dialog Screen Mode, press Enter to toggle between 32 CUSTOM and 16/16. The 16/16 setting
allows you to set 16 custom names with sequence numbers and to set the sequence number for
the 16 canned names.

On the Set Communications Menu screen, set DIALOG SCREEN MODE to 16/16.

1.

Press the (



) arrows to select SET SPECIAL NAMES.

2.

Press ENTER. The Dialog Special Name Choice Menu screen appears.

3.

Press the (



) arrows to select a special name (1 – 16).

4.

Press the (



) arrows to highlight the name or sequence number.

5.

Press ENTER. Key in the name or sequence number on the onscreen keyboard.

6.

Press Enter.

7.

When finished entering special names and sequence numbers, press Back to return to the Set
Communications menu.
