Select and install reader

Prepare the electrical installation in outdoor and indoor areas

1.

Drill the holes in the wall in accordance with the drill template.

2.

Insert dowels in both holes.

3.

Feed the taut wire into the empty conduit.

4.

Carefully remove the reader housing. To do this, press lightly against
the reader housing from below until the reader housing folds open
to the front.

5.

Connect the connector of the reader unit with the mating connector
of the connection cable.

The reader unit is connected with the connection cable of the relay
connection.

6.

Feed the cable carefully through the empty conduit using the taut
wire.

Note

Damage to the reader unit and periphery!

7.

Screw on the reader unit by hand.

8.

Place the reader housing on the exposed reader unit and engage.

ü

The reader unit is mounted.

Power supply wiring

Note

Faulty power supply due to incomplete
wiring!

9.

Only activate the power supply once the wiring has been completed
in full.

Note

Damage to the contacts caused by switching
inductive loads!

10.

Install the suppressor diode (freewheeling diode) supplied to protect
the contacts parallel to the load.

Note

Destruction of the reader due to increased
voltage!

11.

Use a regulated powerpack supply with an output voltage of 12 V.

Warning

Personal injury due to electrical voltage!

Check for deenergised state.
