Determine cylinder type
Try to rotate the cam
1.
Remove key from the old cylinder.
2.
Try to rotate the cam through 360º by hand.

If the cam rotates freely (A), cylinder type 04, type 04 MK and type
05 can be fitted.
If the cam does not rotate freely (B), cylinder type 01 and type 21
can be fitted.
4.3 Determine cylinder length
Tip
The dimensions for individual cylinders are listed in
the technical specifications. You can increase the
cylinder length in increments of 5 mm on one or
both sides, depending on the cylinder type.

There are two methods to determine the required length of the
cylinder to be installed:
•
Measure old cylinder.
•
Measure door, including fitting.
Both methods are described below.
Tip
The old cylinder should be measured if possible.
