If none of the leakage pipes (004) have a leakage, find the FLV that has a fuel flow more
than usual (compared to the amount of leakage from the other FLV) as follows:
4.1
Put an oil tray under the screw-in union (007,
) of the fuel leakage pipe
(006) to collect the usual fuel flow.
4.2
Carefully loosen the screw-in union (007) a maximum of two turns.
4.3
Do a check of the fuel flow.
4.4
If fuel flows from the screw-in union (007) more than usual (compared to the
amount of leakage from the other FLV), the piston rod is defective. Replace the
defective piston rod (refer to the Maintenance Manual 5564-1).
4.5
Tighten the screw-in union (007).
4.6
again for the other FLV.
