4.0. Tractor attachments
4.7. Ballast
When attaching rear-mounted
equipment, always ensure there
is sufficient front-axle load;
the steering capability of the
vehicle must be maintained.
Always position weights in
accordance with specifications
at the securing points
provided.
When selecting the front
weights, ensure that the
permissible axle loads and
permissible total weight,
including mounted equipment,
are not exceeded.
IMPORTANT :
Observe the tractor
specifications in the
Operating Manual.
4.8. Attaching suction hose and intake fitting
at intermediate or front mower:
The intake fitting is connected
by means of a plug-in pin to
the connection point provided.
The flexible suction hose is
fitted onto the intake fitting
and secured by the hose clamp.
The suction hose is guided by
the movable guide ring (for
front mower) and secured to the
fitting of the blower cover by
means of a pipe clamp.
When doing this, take care that
the hose does not touch the
ground or come into contact
with the wheels.
