10.1
Maintenance Plan
Regular maintenance and cleaning of the parts which can be reached without opening the
electric Crimping Machine CS 300 will prolong the life of the machine. Do not use rough
materials to clean the machine such as wire wool. The electric Crimping Machine CS 300
and/or machine parts should not be cleaned with compressed air. The crimping machine as
well as the machine parts must not be cleaned with hard objects like scrapers, steel wool or
similar.
Vacuum heavily soiled parts and wear.

Daily

Visual inspection of the
electric Crimping Machine CS 300.

Die sets and tool heads should be cleaned in the profile area and checked for any damage
before every use. Lightly lubricate the profiles.
10.1.2
Every 25,000 Cycles
+
Lubricate the crimping ram with the Blaser Swiss Lube, Art.-No. 00492-01 EP-Universal
Grease.
+
Grease the driving rod and lubricate all movable levers and bolts.
+
Control the electrical equipment of the machine. Defects such as loose connections or
scorched cables must be rectified immediately.
Procedure:
+
Disconnect power supply.
+
Remove holding device for tool head or adapter.
+
Remove the cover carefully and ensure that no cables are damaged.
+
Disconnect the plugs from the display and the safety buttons left and right as well as from
the control element of the release button.
+
Grease the driving rod with Blaser Swiss Lube Art.-No. 00492-01 EP-Universal Grease.
+
Lubricate all moving levers and bolts with Blasolube Fluid Art.-No. 00761-01.
+
Control the electrical equipment of the machine. Defects such as loose connections or
scorched cables must be rectified immediately.

Connect the plugs to the display and the safety buttons left and right as well as to the
control element of the release button.
+
Mount cover and holding device for the tool head or adapter.
