Mechanical Problems and Failure
Problem / Failure Remedial Action and Explanation
Machine cannot
be operated
Is the machine connected to the power supply and the ON/OFF
switch set to I?
Is the key switch turned to position II?
Is the foot pedal connected in the correct way?
Is the foot pedal locked? Release it by turning the release knob
on the foot pedal.
Press foot pedal and safety button (right or left) simultaneously.
Machine works in
double step
mode.
Change Double Step Mode
(1-10) to full cycle mode

Tool head cannot
be connected to
the holding device
on the machine.
Machine is not in final
position!
Activate the machine again in full
cycle mode

Move machine ram to starting
position (chapter 7.1).
Tool head is not in final
position!
Move crimp anvil in lowest position
(see operating instructions of the
tool heads).
Ram of the tool head
does not engage correctly
into the ram of the
machine!

Tool head does
not open
Move tool head backwards (in set up mode, chapter 7.3.2);
Remove tool head;
Clean and lubricate the tool head in the profile area and check
for any damage.
Never mount damaged tool heads!
Tool head cannot
be removed.

removed.
