5.3 DIGITAL INPUTS AND OUTPUTS
The Control Unit (UC) presents 6 digital inputs (I11 to I16), activated with either 24 Vdc. With the use of the
Expansion Digital Unit (EDU) it is possible to add 6 more digital inputs to the system (I5 to I10), which can be
activated with external voltage of either 24 Vdc or 110 Vac (according to the acquired model).
For the activation of the Control Unit (UC) 24 Vdc digital inputs, the internal isolated 24 Vdc power supply
can be used, or an external 24 Vdc power supply. The connection diagram is presented in the
CONNECTION OF THE CONTROL UNIT (UC) DIGITAL INPUTS on page 3-8
of this manual. For the activation of
the Expansion Digital Unit (EDU) digital inputs an external power supply of either 24 Vdc or 110 Vac (according to
the acquired model) must be used. The connection diagram is presented in the
THE EXPANSION DIGITAL UNIT (EDU) DIGITAL INPUTS on page 3-10
of this manual.
The Control Unit (UC) has 4 relay digital outputs (O1 to O4), which are configured through the parameters
P277, P278, P279 and P280. The connection diagram is presented in the

CONTROL UNIT (UC) DIGITAL OUTPUTS on page 3-9
The Expansion Digital Unit (EDU) has 4 relay digital outputs (O5 to O8), which are configured through the parameters
P281, P282, P283 and P284. The connection diagram is presented in the
Section 3.13 CONNECTION OF THE
EXPANSION DIGITAL UNIT (EDU) DIGITAL OUTPUTS on page 3-11
of this manual.
