Positioning of the safety elements
1.
Lighting
Lighting is provided with the bicycle, consisting of two reflectors (one white included in the front light
and one red in the rear light), one front light, one rear light and two other orange reflectors positioned
between the spokes of the wheels. The presence of reflective tires enables you to be better seen side-
on.
The lighting system is an obligatory safety feature of your bicycle, as such it must be present. Check
that your lighting system works before riding.
Headlight powered by bicycle battery
The headlight is powered by the bicycle battery and is directly functional. Make sure the battery is
charged and properly inserted. Turn the headlight on / off by pressing the "ON / OFF" button on the
LCD display.
Tail light powered by bicycle battery
The tail light is powered by the bicycle battery and is directly functional. Make sure the battery is
charged and properly inserted. Turn the tail light on / off by pressing the "ON / OFF" button on the LCD
display.
2.
Bell
A bell is situated on your handlebars. It can be heard in a range of 50 m.
The bell is an obligatory safety feature of your bicycle, as such it must be present on your handlebars.
3.
Wearing a helmet
For a safe use, wearing a bicycle helmet is strongly recommended. It reduces the risk of skull injuries
in the case of falls.
WARNING:
Wearing a helmet is obligatory for children under 14 years old, whether they are
riders or passengers.
