Start Policy Manager. Use it to copy a valid configuration file to the
primary area of the Firebox flash disk.

Save the configuration file to the primary area of the Firebox flash
disk.
For instructions, see the User Guide chapter on Firebox Basics, “Saving a
Configuration to the Firebox.”

To test whether the configuration file saved successfully to the
Firebox, use Policy Manager to open it.

Troubleshooting
The COM was successful, but I didn’t get the “Operation Complete”
dialog box when I rebooted the Firebox.
Check the cables. The null modem cable must be connected from
the Console port of the Firebox to the COM port on the
Management Station.
Confirm that the COM port is enabled.
Try a different cable or another device (like a modem) to test that
the COM port is responding.
If these solutions do not work, contact WatchGuard Technical
Support.
Why is the Flash Disk Management Tool unable to open the COM
port on my computer?
Enable the serial port (COM). The COM port must be enabled for
the Flash Disk Management Tool to recognize it.
Verify that you do not have two sessions of the Flash Disk
Management Tool open.
