3.1

Articulated Joint Locking Bar

A bar is provided to lock the articulated joint, and prevent the two machine halves
from swinging together.

When lifting or jacking up the machine, secure the articulated joint with the bar as
shown. Hold bar in position using the cotter pin

(a)

provided.

When operating the machine, place the bar in the storage clamp

(b)

as shown.
