WARNING: DISCONNECT THE ELECTRICAL
POWER TO THE MACHINE AT THE MAIN
CIRCUIT BOX. PLACE A TAG ON THE CIRCUIT
BOX INDICATING THE CIRCUIT IS BEING
SERVICED.
1.
Remove "BOTTOM PANEL.”
2.
Disconnect wires from thermal disk.
3.
Straighten tabs and remove disk.
4.
Reverse procedure to install.
Magnetron
WARNING: DISCONNECT THE ELECTRICAL
POWER TO THE MACHINE AT THE MAIN
CIRCUIT BOX. PLACE A TAG ON THE CIRCUIT
BOX INDICATING THE CIRCUIT IS BEING
SERVICED.
1.
Remove "UPPER LAMP HOUSING AND
DUCT ASSEMBLY.”
2.
Disconnect wires from disk.
3.
Remove screw securing disk tab.
4.
Slide disk to disengage other tab from slot and
remove disk.
5.
Reverse procedure to install.
CAPACITOR (High Voltage)
WARNING: DISCONNECT THE ELECTRICAL
POWER TO THE MACHINE AT THE MAIN
CIRCUIT BOX. PLACE A TAG ON THE CIRCUIT
BOX INDICATING THE CIRCUIT IS BEING
SERVICED.
NOTE: During reassembly, before installing main
cover and after all necessary components are
replaced and adjusted, a radiation leak test MUST
be performed in the magnetron area.
WARNING: DUE TO HIGH VOLTAGE, SPECIAL
CARE SHOULD BE TAKEN WHEN MEASURING
AROUND THE MAGNETRON.
1.
Remove "MAIN COVER.”
2.
Remove “NOISE FILTER BOARD” (Model
FBMW3).
3.
Discharge high voltage capacitor by shorting
the terminals of the high voltage capacitor with
an insulated handled screwdriver or insulated
jumper wire.
4.
Mark and disconnect wire leads from capacitor.
5.
Remove screw securing mounting bracket.
6.
Slide capacitor and mounting bracket to
disengage bracket rear tab and remove from
unit.
7.
Slide bracket off capacitor.
8.
Reverse procedure to install.
