For additional protection it is reasonable to install a re­
sidual current device (RCD) with nominal operation c u r­
rent not exceeding 30 mA into the mains of the kitchen;
to install RCD contact a specialist.
SAFETY MEASURES
Before using the coffee maker, read this instruction
carefully and keep it fo r future reference.
Use the coffee m aker according to its intended purpose
only, as it is stated in this instruction manual. M ishan­
dling the coffee maker can lead to its breakage and
cause harm to the user or damage to his/her property.
Always observe the main safety measures when using
electric appliances, namely:
• Before switching the coffee maker on fo r the first
time, make sure that the mains voltage corresponds
to the voltage specified on the unit body.
• The power cord is equipped with “ euro plug” ; plug
it into the socket with reliable grounding contact.
• To avoid risk of fire o r electric shock do not use
adapters fo r connecting the coffee m aker to the
mains.
Place the unit on a flat stable surface away from
heat sources, moisture and direct sunlight.
Do not switch the coffee maker on if the water tank
is empty.
• Before plugging the unit in make sure that the steam
supply knob is in the position «OFF».
• Use only the accessories supplied.
• Before switching the coffee maker on make sure
that all removable parts are installed properly.
Do not touch parts of the coffee m aker which get
hot during operation.
• Be careful to avoid burns by steam o r hot water.
Do not remove the filte r holder during coffee maker
operation.
Do not leave used coffee in the filter, remove it right
after m aking coffee.
• To avoid fire, electric shock o r physical injuries do
not immerse the electric cord, the plug o r the coffee
maker body into water o r other liquids.
• Always switch the coffee maker o ff with the o n /o ff
button and take the power plug out of the mains
socket im m ediately after that.
• When unplugging the unit, pull the plug but not the
cord.
• Always unplug the coffee maker, if you are not using
it and before cleaning.
Let the coffee maker cool down com pletely before
cleaning it.
• Attention! Remove scale not less than once a
month. Troubles caused by appearance o f the scale
on the coffee m aker parts are not covered by w ar­
ranty.
Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of the
table and touch hot surfaces and sharp edges of the
kitchen furniture.
Do not use the coffee m aker outdoors.
Never leave the coffee m aker in places with the
tem perature below O'C.
For children safety reasons do not leave polyethyl­
ene bags, used as a packaging, unattended.
• Attention! Do not allow children to play with poly­
ethylene bags o r packaging film. Danger of su f­
focation!
Do not allow children to use the unit as a toy.
Do not leave the operating unit unattended, be es­
pecially careful if children o r disabled persons are
near the operating unit.
• This unit is not intended fo r usage by children or
disabled persons unless they are given all the nec­
essary and understandable instructions by a person
who is responsible fo r the ir safety on safety m ea­
sures and information about danger that can be
caused by im proper usage o f the unit.
Do not use the coffee m aker if the power cord or the
plug is damaged, if the unit m alfunctions or after the
unit was damaged.
Do not repair the coffee m aker by yourself; always
apply to an authorized service center fo r repair.
• To avoid damages, transport the unit in original
package only.
Keep the unit out o f reach of children.

a t room tem p erature b e fo re switching on.
- Unpack the coffee maker, remove any stickers and
package materials that can prevent unit operation.
- Check the unit fo r damages, do not use the it in case
of damages.
