Installing the housing
Once the surface has been prepared, the housing can be installed.
To install the housing, see [
Figure 8 to 12]
and do the following:
1. Unfasten the power board holder.

Loosen the bolt and the power board holder swings away from the housing bracket.
2. Prepare the cables.

Once prepared feed the video/power/data cables though the waterproof connector at the top of the housing, finally screw
the connector to the top of the housing.
3. Connect the cables

Remove the terminal connectors from the accessories box.
Connect the Video, RS-485, power and alarm cables, before fixing onto the top board. After connection replace the top
board and secure in place. Turn on the power, the RED LED will illuminate. Turn off power after this check. (If the LED
does not illuminate check your connections).
NOTE:
Ensure that the power is OFF when connecting the cables.
4. Adjust Clips.

Adjust the height of the three mounting clips. Position them flush to the housing.

Installing the housing

Push the housing into the ceiling and move the clips so they are at 90
◦ to the housing, finally tighten the three clip screws.
NOTE:
Ensure that even pressure is used to tighten the three screws otherwise distortion may occur.
WARNING:
Do not run cables next to the heaters. It could cause damage to the dome or an electrical fire.
CAUTION:
For safety, the mounting surface, hardware and procedure used for securing the dome must support the weight of
the dome, mount (if used), cables and any structural or environmental vibration according to local regulations. Minimum load
for this installation is 4 times the weight of the dome (see page 13 for weights).
6. Set the dome ID, baud rate and protocol.

Remove the two protective sponges
Set the dome ID, baud rate and protocol via the DIP-switches (refer to APPENDIX I).
7. Install the black-liner and pan/tilt module.

Push the black liner onto the two locking tabs.
Align the pan/tilt module to the two clips, red to red, black to black and match the holes in pan/tilt module to the two guid e
poles.
Gently push the module upwards until you hear two clicking sounds.

Installing the dome’s bubble.

Fix the safety chain to the housing.
Match the clasps to the mounting holes then turn the bubble anti-clockwise.
NOTE:
Ensure the safety chain sits inside the
bubble’s arc grove to prevent it interfering with the lens.
NOTE:
If fitting the bubble is difficult, adjust the mounting clips.
