Front panel
FRONT PANEL
General description
The front panel consists of a main section and additional modules ad described on page
3 .
Main section (page 8 ).
This section contains all the main volume and equalizer controls of the instruments, effects controls,
Program and Song selection controls, together with all the general parameters and settings.
E.PIANO module (page 11 ).
This module selects and controls the electric piano sounds.
A.PIANO module (page 12 ).
This module selects and controls the acoustic piano sounds.
CLAVI module (page 13 ).
This module selects and controls the Clavinet sounds.
SOUND COLLECTION module (page 14 ).
This module selects and controls pad, strings, choir, brass, keyboard, organ, bass and other sounds.
EXTERNAL module (page 15 ).
This module controls external MIDI devices.
Wheels
To the left of the keyboard you will find two wheels that modify the sound in
real time.
The Pitch Bend wheel automatically returns to the centre and controls the
sound pitch.
The wheel , although normally assigned to modulation control, is
programmable and assignable to various functions (see the
Mod.Wheel Dest
parameter, page 29 ).
NB
- The image above refers to the Artist-W and Artist models equipped with all modules. The modules are the same
for each model. The only difference is that up to 5 models can be installed on Artist-W and Artist, while the
Compact model supports only 4 modules.
- The arrangement and number of modules in the image and on the display screens shown in the manual are for
information purposes only as they can be freely rearranged by the user.
