Program mode
NB:
the image refers to an instrument with the full range of modules.
PROGRAM MODE
Program location.
The letter indicates the Program Bank, the digit indicates its
location.
Program name
Programs can be assigned a name when they are saved (page
Active modules.
This area shows the icons corresponding to the modules which are active in the currently selected
Program.
Notification area.
This area shows information and events related to particular conditions, such as keyboard transposition or
the activation of the EXTERNAL section (if the dedicated module is not installed on the instrument).
What is a Program
A Program contains the settings of all sound generation, control and effect sections. These settings are:
Sound generation parameters and configurations of each module.
Keyboard and keyboard sections configurations.
Effects parameters (from the REVERB and EFFECTS sections).
Pedals status and assigned function.
Pitch bend and modulation wheels status and assigned functions.
Legend ‘70s
contains 256 Programs, divided into 16 banks, each with 16 Programs. Every Program is identified
by its Bank (a character between A and P) and by its location (a digit between 1 and 16). Furthermore,
Programs can have a name.

The Program mode is the main operating mode of the
instrument. While in this mode, the user can run, select
and save a Program.
While in Program mode, the display is divided into 4 areas,
with the following fields:

The External section is always present, even if the module is not installed on the instrument. If the module is not
installed on the instrument and one of the two parts of this section is active, the display will show the EXT field.
