Troubleshooting

Check the new master socket fitted across terminals

Check the telephone being used is working correctly.
No speech from the door station to the
telephone (line 2).

ensure there is no break in the wire.
Check the voltage across terminal

at the door station (or interface:

) and across terminals

at the

. When there are no calls on the
system (in standby) a voltage of approx. 8 -12Vdc should be present.
If possible, test the speech from the door station using a Videx audiophone (model
Art.3021
should be sufficient).
No speech from the telephone to the
door station (line 1).
Check terminal

from the intercom door station (or interface:

ensure there is no break in the wire.

The speech is too loud and feedback
occurs or the speech is too low.
Try adjusting the volume at the door station using the volume control POTS (mic, speaker

recommended that you also refer to the troubleshooting section on any accompanying technical documents for the intercom
panel being installed, as there may be solutions to the problems that you’ve encountered covered in those documents that
may not necessarily be covered in the troubleshooting table.
