Video and Audio Settings 

This screen allows for the configuration of various video settings. This camera supports multiple-streaming  

video. It allows the user to receive video in multiple configurations simultaneously, for example it can be 

viewed in MPEG-4 and recorded in JPEG. Note that the VMC requires JPEG mode. 

 

Video Settings: 

 

Enter the name of the camera in the 

“Video title”

 field. 

In the 

“Color”

 field, select Color or B/W. 

For 

“Power line frequency”

, select 60 Hz or 50 Hz to match the local light source t0 prevent video flicker. 

Select the appropriate 

“Iris mode”

, Fixed, Indoor or Outdoor. Note: Select Fixed initially; this fixes the shut-

ter to adjust focus. After the lens is focused correctly, then select Indoor or Outdoor for the environment. 

The Caching Stream settings are not relevant for ViconNet at this time.
