Connect the optical input ports to each 36 port of the CAE-100.

Check whether the status LED changes from red to green and wait until the green LED
illuminated.

Connect the uplink interface port of the coupler to the CPRIAdvisor CAM-100.
NOTE
The 16xLC to 24xMPO and 36xLC to 36xMPO 1.5-meter cable with MPO adapter pan-
els are optional accessories. If you just purchase a main device, you can skip the in-
structions above regarding this.
Grounding the CPRIAdvisor CAP-100
The CPRIAdvisor CAP-100 must be grounded to the building’s earth ground system. It is suitable for
installation as part of the Common Network Bonding (CBN). The symbol (
) appears on the
CPRIAdvisor system shelf to indicate a ground conductor terminal. Follow the procedure below to
ground the CPRIAdvisor CAP-100.
Procedure

Fit a lock washer and a grounding cable into a screw.

Place the step

to the grounding hole located on the right of the ground symbol of the
CAP-100.

Tighten the screw with a torque of 4.7 N-m (42 In-Lbs).

Connect the other end of the grounding cable to the building’s earth ground system.
