Check absence of clogging of the convective surface of the boiler and perform chemical cleaning-up (for example, METANO THERM
–
according to the manual of the METANO THERM manufacturer) or mechanical cleaning-up by means of a brush delivered together with
the boiler. In case of non-performance of regular maintenance and big clogging of the convective surfaces with impurities, it is possible to
perform cleaning-up as follows: pour diluted detergent solution from top into all vent holes of the convective surface,
-
let the solution work for approx. 10 minutes;
-
spray the convective surfaces by a lower water pressure;
-
again by a higher water pressure complete the convective surfaces cleaning;
-
remove perfectly the impurities from burner space.
10.
Check the burner tubes choking. In case they are fouled:
-
dismount the ignition pilot burner (Fig. No. 3 or 4);
-
by means of a steel brush clean slightly the burner tubes perforation;
-
remove dust with help of the use of compressed air through the diffuser or by using the vacuum cleaner;
-
mount back the ignition pilot burner (see Fig. 3 or 4) and then the whole burner;
-
remove the dust from ignition pilot burner with help of compressed air jet.
11.
Mount back the draught diverter, insulation and the upper part of the boiler cladding

Open the gas supply, connect to the electricity supply and start the boiler.
13.
Check the gas supply to the burner tightness.
14.
Boiler adjustment and the check of set output values (according to chap. No. 11.3).
15.
In case that the flue gases ventilator is connected, perform:
-
a check of flue gas ducting tightness;
-
a check and, if needed, cleaning-up of the inner space of the ventilator (the box, the runner - with a vacuum cleaner).
