Heating  systems  with  an  open  expansion  tank  enable  direct  contact  of  heating  water  with  the  atmosphere.  Within  the  heating  period,
expanding water in the tank absorbs oxygen that increases corrosion effects and at the same time water is being significantly evaporated.
Only water prepared to the valued according to ČSN 07 7401 may be used for addition.

12.

Deaerate the heating system.

13.

The boiler must be properly earthed.

An external protective clamp serving for earthing is installed on the rear part of the boiler.

14.

Fill  up  the  heater  with  water

(provided  it  is  connected).  In  case  of  a  long  water  distribution,  it  is  necessary  to  insulate  the  pipeline to

reduce heat losses.

15.

After filling-up the system with water,

switch-over the control lever of the Honeywell V 4044F three-way valve from the MAN-OPEN

position to the AUTO position

, see fig. No. 26 (as far as the hot water preparation is installed)

16.

Connect the outdoor thermostat of 950 01 type

(only for boilers equipped with a two-stage gas valve). The outdoor thermostat has to

be  placed  on  the  north  or  north-east  side  of  the  facility.  At  mounting  and connection, proceed according to instructions specified in the
manual  for  the  thermostat.  The  switch-

off  temperature  of  the  thermostat  is  set  to  0  °C  and,  as  necessary,  it  is  possible to change its

settings in the range of 0

8 °C.

17.

Connect the selected type of regulation

according to the attached manual.

18.

After boiler unpacking, put plastic foil, a wooden pallet and cardboard package into corresponding waste containers.

During  the  heating  season  it  is  necessary  to  maintain  the  constant  volume  of  heating  water  in  the  heating  system  and  be  particular  in  the
heating  system  is  deaerated.

Water  from  the  boiler  and  the  heating  system  mustn't  be  discharged  or  withdrawn  for  using,  except  the

necessarily needed cases, such as repairs and so on. Emptying heating water and filling-up of new water increases a danger of corrosion and
creation of water stone. If it is necessary to

add water into the heating system, please only add it to the cooled boiler

, in order to prevent

bursting the section.

11

Commissioning - instructions for contractual service organizations

The  boiler  commissioning,  heat  output  setting  and  any  interference  with  boiler  electric  part  or  connection  of  additional  control
elements can only be done by a contractual service organization authorized to do these activities.

11.1

Verification activities before commissioning

Before the boiler commissioning it is necessary to check:

1.

Filling the heating system with water (check the manometer).

2.

Thermostat settings:

boiler thermostat 45

– 85 °C (in case of any superior regulation, it is recommended to set temperature to 85 °C );

heater thermostat (if connected) 0

– 90 °C; for a sufficiently fast hot water heating the TK boiler thermostat must be set to 85 °C.

3.

Gas input pressure before entering the boiler and deaeration of the gas connection.

4.

Connection to electric network and switching of the control thermostats ČSN 33 2180 Art. 6.2.2. The sockets are to be connected in a
way making sure that the protective plug is upwards and the phase are connected to the left hand side socket when looking on it from the
front.  The same applies to the double sockets.

5.

Release the air-relief screw of the automatic air-relief valve.

6.

Connect it to the chimney or to the flue gas ducting in case of the forced flue-gases exhaust.

7.

Sparkling (perform it at the closed gas supply into the boiler):

check by listening whether there is any sparkling on the ignition electrode of the ignition pilot burner;

sparkling time depends on the used automatics;

with regards to the closed gas supply, failure has to be signalized;

carry out unblocking of the automatics by pushing the

„RESET“ button on the network module.

11.2

Commissioning

A boiler equipped with only a network module or a room thermostat (works without a superior regulation):

1.

Open the gas seal and the water "shut-offs" in the heating system.

switch-on the main switch;

switch-over the power switch to the position I in case of the use of an outdoor sensor; otherwise select the power depending on your
needs.

2.

Provided  all  is  OK,  the  ignition  pilot  burner  will  be  ignited.  The  main burner will then ignited from the ignition pilot burner. If the igniting
cycle has  run  over  but  the  burner is not ignited, a failure signalling on the electric panel will light up. As far as no ignition is repeatedly
performed, ) and it is necessary to switch-off the main switch, find out and remove the failure (see chapter 15) and afterwards repeat the
procedure.

3.

Check absence of gas escape.

4.

Perform setting and adjustment of the thermal power of the boiler.

5.

Carry out a heating test.

The boiler equipped with superior regulation

1.

Open the gas seal and the water "shut-offs" in the heating system.

2.

Switch-on the main switch on the electric panel of the boiler. Connect the boiler to the electric supply network is signaled by a green lamp
lightening

3.

Switch-over the main switch to the position I (automatic operation).

4.

As  far  as  all  is  OK,  automatic  ignition  of  the  low  power  is  performed;  in  case  of  requirement  of  the  superior  regulation  for  higher
temperature, the nominal power will be ignited. If the igniting cycle has run over but the burner is not ignited, a failure signalling on the
automatics will light up. As far as no ignition is repeatedly performed, ) and it is necessary to switch-off the main switch and remove the
failure (see chapter 15) and afterwards repeat the procedure.

5.

Check absence of gas escape.
