Polidoro ignition pilot burner
Ignition and monitoring of burner operation is carried out with help of an ignition pilot burner. In case of requirement for ignition of the main
burner, after the lapse of the waiting time T
w
= 1, the built-in igniter will be switched-on and the gas valve of the ignition pilot burner will be
opened. The igniting spark will ignite the ignition pilot burner, and its flame is read by the flame sensor. After stabilization of the ignition pilot
burner flame, ignition will be stopped and the main valve for gas supply to the main burner will be opened. But if the ignition pilot burner is not
combusted during the safety time T
s
= 55 s (T
s
= 25 s), (SIT T
s
= 60 s), then the blocking automatics will be connected. If flame is extinguished
during normal operation, the igniting automatics will repeat the igniting cycle.
The ignition pilot burner is being switched-off together with the main burner.
