If the measured smoke level in a sector is higher than the user-set alarm thresholds then an Alert, Action, Fire
1 or Fire 2 alarm condition is reported for that sector, depending on the smoke level. Also, the first sector to
pass the alert level is reported as the first alarm sector (FAS).
Air is exhausted from the VES-A00-P and may be vented back into the protected zone.
Alarms can be signalled via Relays and VESDAnet. Ethernet and WiFi can be used for configuration and
secondary monitoring, and a USB interface is provided for initial setup.
The detector has a LED user interface. A series of LEDs display Alarm, Fault, Disable and detector power on
status. The detector has a buzzer which can be configured to signal alarm, fault, disable and standby status.
A button allows the user to Reset or Disable the detector or to acknowledge status.
