Executing Throughput Tests
Throughput Test in Incremental Switch Mode
In this mode of throughput testing, OpenFlow packet-in messages are first sent to
the controller from 25% of the configured number of switches belonging to a single
switch group network. This test is repeated in increments of 25% until all the
configured switches have sent packet-in messages to the controller. This would
require 4 iterations. It is not possible to change the number of iterations in the test.
To run a throughput test in the Incremental Switch mode:

Click the
Performance
tab to display the
Performance
screen (Figure 25).

Configure the
Select Controller
pane and
Network Configuration
pane
(Figure 27).
